Transplant is a hopefully funny webseries starring a cast of 6 trans friends in Minneapolis who love each other and hate each other.

In early 2023, Mia Wolf came up with the idea for the show and found a group of people who wanted to try making it. In the summer of 2023, we auditioned 65 interested people to find the right cast, then wrote the pilot episode. We received a small grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, which helped us film & edit the pilot from April to June of 2024. After screening it for free in a theater and posting it on youtube, we got a lot of positive reception in person and online.

In 2025, we wrote more episodes, got fiscally sponsored by the local nonprofit FilmNorth, and received another grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, allowing us to create more episodes. We are currently in production on 4 more episodes, which will mark the end of season 1. There are currently no plans for a season 2, though if someone gives us $42,000 we would make it, as that is what it would cost. Anyway the completed season will be shown in June 2027 in a Minneapolis theater for free. Shortly after the theater premiere, we’ll post all the episodes on YouTube.
